Georgie Woods

Known for her infectious energy and elegant styling, Georgina is a crowd favourite both on and off the stage. 

Her lifelong love of dance started at the age of 3 when she was enrolled in her first ballet class. Following years of intensive training in classical ballet (RAD Advanced 1), contemporary, lyrical and tap, Georgina discovered Latin dance in 2016 and has been obsessed ever since. Since entering the Latin scene, she has performed and instructed at multiple events across Australia, Asia and the United States.

Georgina has won numerous Australian Championship titles and won her first World Championship title with the Modus Vivendi Ladies team in 2018. Georgina placed second in Australia’s first Salsanama competition, winning three knock-out rounds against some of Australia’s best professional Salsa dancers. Her specialities are Salsa, improvised freestyle, and ladies romántica styling.

Passionate about strong fundamentals and dance technique, Georgina loves to share her knowledge with dancers of all levels.
